KAIST College of Business (KCB) successfully received the Five-year Full
Accreditation from
the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
(AACSB) in a raw since 2003, at a meeting held on 28th of January 2019.
AACSB is
well known for its strict standards and complex
process in granting accreditation. It
includes a process of rigorous internal reviews, self-assessment and adjustment
and it can take several years to complete. During the preparation process, KCB
was able to develop and implement strategies and plans to reach its mission: To
produce highly qualified global business leaders with academic excellence and dedication
to society. Through accreditation from AACSB, KCB has become a globally
recognized business school for its high quality education system and excellent
students.

Graduates Employed in International Universities
KCB¡¯s
Management Engineering Program has trained a number of highly qualified and
outstanding PhD students.
The number of graduates from KCB appointed as
professors in overseas universities is on the rise.
Six
graduates from KCB were appointed as professors of renowned universities this
year,
including Nanyang Technology University in Singapore, Florida State
University in United States, and Queensland University, Australia.

KCB runs programs for partner schools
whose students are on global field trips under the ¡®Doing Business in Korea¡¯
program throughout the year.
¡®Doing Business in Korea¡¯ offers an exceptional
opportunity to hands-on education that fosters an understanding of Korean
business culture.
Participants gain insight into doing business in Korea and
Asia.
South Korea, one of the most dynamic countries in the world, has emerged
from a chaotic history to become a world power.
The program is customized both
in terms of length and areas of interested, and it is offered throughout the
year.
Thirty students from Saint Mary¡¯s
College of California visited KCB in March.
They attended eleven classes taught
by renowned guest speakers, and they visited Korean companies, including
Samsung,
Hyundai Motors, and ABL Bio, a biotech startup companies. They were
also able to experience a number of cultural and networking events with KCB
students.
