Call for Case Journal Submission
AAPBS Case Center is
hosted at HKUST Business School in Hong Kong. It has published case
journal books written by member faculty since 2015. Cases are reviewed by case centre
in cooperation with Emerald Publishing.
If you would like to submit your case to be published in the 2019 Journal,
please submit to aapbs@kaist.ac.kr by 27 September.

JOINT COLLABORATIONS WITH CLADEA
The Latin American
Council of Management Schools (CLADEA) and the Association of Asia-Pacific
Business Schools (AAPBS) have signed an agreement to a collaboration. Members
of each association will benefit by joint collaborations from each other’s
member list, and receive equal opportunity to participate events as members.
Also, when a member from each organization joins the other organization, the
1st year’s membership fee will be reduced to US1,000. We sincerely welcome
CLADEA to our membership, and wish all of our members had extended
opportunities for collaborations, and joint programs, and other events. To

2019 KIT PROGRAM
2019 KIT Program this year's
Action Learning Field Study held in Korea. Students from Korea (KAIST College
of Business), Indonesia Universitas Prasetiya Mulya (UPM), and Taiwan, National
Taiwan University (NTU) formed multinational learning teams and analyse various
management issues in a global context. The teams worked through long-distance Video
conferences and/or face-to-face meetings during the action-learning program.
They also conducted a research/consulting project dealing with real management
issues, aiming to produce company case reports and analysis. The company
consulting projects they were involved were Samsung electronics, CJ CGV movie,
and Fubon Hyundai Life Insurance company. The unique value proposition of this
program is the joint action learning experience made up of 12 participants from
each of the 3 countries in Asia to create a global network of future business
leaders from Korea, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

Huashang College, GuangDong University of
Finance and Economics
Huashang College Guangdong University of
Finance and Economics is a 4-year degree granting college. It is an independent
private university, which was approved by National Ministry of Education in
April 2006. Our college offers 34 undergraduate majors in total which cover 6
different discipline fields, such as Management, Economics, Humanities,
Engineering, Arts, and Education. There are more than 22,000 students in our
university. Over the past 12 years, we have trained more than 30,000 talents in
various industries for our country; most of our graduates are employed in Economics, Finance, Business
and trade, Management and Foreign affairs.
In total, there are more than 800 teaching
faculty in Huashange College. We have established a strong faculty team,
leading by distinguished professors and associate professors: with a group of
accountants, economists and engineers as the backbone; doctors and masters as
the main force: to actively explore application-oriented talents training mode
and development path of independent college.
Huashange College has been focused on the
development of international education these years, and we have promoted and
implemented various cooperation and exchange studies with some foreign
universitites actively. Cooperating with the University of Huddersfield, the University
of Canberra, the University of Otago and some
other foreign universities, we have
operated some characteristics program such as “3+1”, “2+2” etc and since then
we have achieved good results. In recent years, about 1,000 teachers and
students from Huashang College have been sent to foreign countries and regions
for study and exchange.
