Operation
of Case Center Japan succeeded to the NUCB Business School
The NUCB Business School began
operation of Case Center Japan in
the fall of this year, deepening its commitment to case method teaching by
contributing to its widespread use in business schools throughout the world.
In cooperation with prestigious
partners such as Harvard Business
Publishing, Ivey Business School, and
Darden School of Business, Case Center Japan has translated, developed, and
distributed over 16,500 cases that meet the high standards of the worlds
premiere business education institutions.
Seeking to promote case method
teaching, CCJ also holds seminars and workshops for case developers and educators
on the proper development and use of cases to promote participant-centered
learning. With Case Method Workshops #26 and #27 being held in November 2019
and February 2020 respectively, CCJ is also in the planning stages of a Joint Case Workshop with Harvard Business
Publishing, tentatively scheduled for July of 2020.
With cases in both English and
Japanese, Case Center Japan is
determined to make case method teaching accessible to Japanese business schools
as well as institutions overseas. To search through CCJs over 16,500 cases and
view upcoming events, visit the newly revamped website at casecenter.jp.
