Sasin Community
Outreach
During the evolving situation,
Sasin School of Management has put its on-campus hotel facility, Sasa
International House, at the disposal of Chulalongkorn University Hospital for
the use of healthcare workers who would otherwise have a lengthy commute.
Sasin is also actively supporting and promoting alumni businesses. The Sasin
alumni network includes many entrepreneurial and family businesses, but the
ones that are having the most impact are the alumni restaurants/food
delivery/and food manufacturing businesses as many people in Thailand are
working from home.
Many Sasin alumni, through their businesses or affiliations, are contributing
to the community through various outreach programs, by providing meals, face
shields, and clean water for healthcare workers and people-in-need. Sasin
alumni are also contributing funds or their expertise when needed to fellow
alumni and to the community. The success of these outreach activities attest to
the importance of a strong and active alumni network in times of crisis and
have made the Sasin alumni community even stronger.
