CONGRATULATION!
AAPBS President-Elect MESSAGE

oraKoutou (Greetings all) from New Zealand,
I am
honoured to be President-Elect for AAPBS. In these very challenging times, I
know it will be a while before we are able to meet in person. I hope that this
will be sooner rather than later and remain confident that we will be able to
come together in Lanzhou for our re-scheduled conference in May next year;
whether it will be possible to stage the planned Chiang Mai conference in
November this year is yet to be decided and will be determined by whether
travel is feasible and Covid-19 under control.
AAPBS
represents a vast and diverse region. Right now, many of you are sweltering in
summer. Where I live, it is the heart of winter. Through my role with AAPBS, I
would like to discuss various questions. These include how we grow AAPBS; how
we work and partner more closely in a time when the need for online learning
has grown; and how we strengthen our global presence and influence.
I look
forward to serving you and working with you as we build our network and the
mission of AAPBS.
