Sasin is proud to host the AAPBS 2020 Annual Virtual Conference, on November 25 and 26. As we all know, 2020 has been a dramatic year of disruption. The AAPBS 2020 Annual Conference was to have been in Chiang Mai, organized by Chiang Mai University and Sasin School of Management. When the pandemic made a face-to-face conference impossible, AAPBS asked if Sasin would organize a virtual event this year, with Chiang Mai University to host the 2021 event in Chiang Mai.

We certainly live in extraordinary times! The COVID-19 global pandemic has affected almost every aspect of our lives - from the way we work, the way we teach, and the way we interact with family, friends, students, and colleagues. It's hard to imagine a more pervasive disruption to our schools, our industry, and our economies.

Yet it's clear that through education we can continue, and even expand the positive impact that we have on our stakeholders and on our communities. To do that, we must all review our core missions, re-examine the impact that we have on our communities, and realize that through long-term, sustainable thinking and practices, we can thrive in this disrupted world.

With this in mind, we have worked closely with the AAPBS team to arrange for some of the top leaders in sustainability, business, and education to participate in a series of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and talks around the theme: Disruption. Impact. Sustainability.

I hope that this year's virtual conference will inspire you, help you connect with your colleagues from around the region, learn new ideas, and share your school's successful initiatives as we will all strive to transform our organizations in this year of change and disruption.
