INTERNATIONAL CONCLAVE

The Post Graduate Department of Business Administration (M.B.A) Of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women (Autonomous), Chennai, organised a two day International Conclave on the theme: “Gateways and Opportunities of MBA Professionals”on 9^th and 10^th August 2021through virtual platform. The conclave was inaugurated by Dr Steven F Tello, Vice Provost for Graduate and Professional Studies, University of Massachusetts, Lowell, USA who addressed about MBA as a toolkit from various aspects of business. This was followed by an array of expert talks across specialisations who envisioned the students about the various career options available post formal management education. Mr. Venkatesh Bhat, Chief Executive Officer, The Accord Metropolitan was the valedictory chief guest. The speaker captivated the attention of the audience with the in-detail discussion about the prospects of an MBA in hospitality sector. The conclave was attended by final year undergraduates along with the management students and was an excellent food for thought for them to decide on their future endeavours.

CORPORATE EXCELLENCE AWARD

To commemorate the silver jubilee celebrations of MBA Department, the management of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women (Autonomous) instituted an “Award for Corporate Excellence”. The award was unanimously nominated to Mrs. Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director, TAFE for her distinguished services for the cause of business and society.
